Richa Chadha-Ali Fazal reveal baby girl name; actress sheds light on using Dia Mirza’s pregnancy items

Ali Fazal and Richa Chadha are currently enjoying the parenthood. The couple welcomes a baby girl on July 16 and announced it via an adorable post. While they have maintained privacy around their little girl, in a recent interview, Richa and Ali have revealed name of their baby. The actress also shared how she was initially apprehensive about embracing motherhood and how Dia Mirza helped her during the pregnancy journey.

In an interview with Vogue, the couple spoke about parenthood and revealed the name of their little munchkin. Ali Fazal said, “Having a baby fills a void that you weren’t even aware existed. That part never ceases to amaze me. It’s freakin’ hard to work now. I have serious anxiety when I leave home because I just want to see my baby Zuneyra all the time and be around Richa and her.”

Talking about how parenthood has changed me, Ali avers, “She’s just two months old and already emoting so much. Expression now has a new meaning for me, and that’s crucial for my craft. The way I’ll approach subjects in the future, the stories I’11 tell-I can imagine there being a significant shift.”

Further, Richa expresses how she was earlier against having a child and climate change was a major concern. She then shares how Dia Mirza helped her by lending baby items. “Ali is very mindful of single-use plastics, more so for the baby. A year ago, I was firmly against having a child, and climate change was a very big reason. Dia Mirza, a really good triend of mine, actually lives her truth. Many of the baby items in my home are from when she was pregnant.”

The actors fell in love on the sets of Fukrey. After dating for a long time, they got married under the Special Marriage Act in 2020. They celebrated their union in 2022 with friends and family. The couple welcomed a baby girl in July 2024 and shared a joint post announcing her arrival.
